We have raided and captured 5 people who stored counterfeit items in underground of a normal home in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. They used SNS to sell the items. We seized 2,949 counterfeit items which is equivalent to 5.1 billion won. Please read the news below.

A group of people who imported a few billion won worth of counterfeit premium bags and sold them throughout SNS secretly has been captured by police.

Busan police have booked 5 of them including Mrs. Park for trademark infringement.

They have allegedly stored 2,949 bags equivalent to 5.1 billion won with Chanel, LV labels for a year in the underground warehouse of a house located in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. They used SNS to sell these items.

They posted the counterfeit bag photos on their SNS page and sold them after exchanging private messages. These counterfeits have been carried by smugglers from China.

According the police, Mr. Park has sold about 10 bags a day for the last one year. “They made about 20,000 won profit per bag which is about 100,000 won so far.” They rented a family house in order to store all the bags.

When police raided, they found 2,949 counterfeit items in underground storage which is equivalent to 5.1 billion won.

The police are planning to expend the investigation to the manufacturers in China.
